🆕 Dashboard & Overview
Your project now has a fully customisable dashboard, giving you a real time snapshot of everything that matters.
See validation pass rates, element count growth, automation status, and your most used shortcuts, all in one place. Add the widgets you need, remove the ones you do not, and tailor the view to your project and team.
A few highlights:
🔹 Monitor validation health across all rules at a glance 🔹 Track element count growth over time 🔹 Quick access to your most used Zones and Tables via Shortcuts 🔹 Add free text notes, useful links, and more directly to the dashboard
Open any project and go to Overview to get started.
Linked Filters - Project Wide Element Filtering
You can now define a shared filter that controls which elements are included across all AnkerDB workflows — Populate, Tables, Generate, Fill, and Validate.
Set rules based on model maturity, category, file, family type, or any property. Only elements mature enough for enrichment or validation will be processed. Placeholders, dummy families, and out-of-scope elements stay untouched — automatically, every time.
Configure your filter once under Settings → Linked Filters, and let AnkerDB handle the rest.
New feature: Scheduled imports from Dalux
We have great news for everyone working with Dalux files in AnkerDB! You can now set up a schedule for automatic import of files from Dalux, so you no longer have to run the import manually every time.
Unfortunately, the Dalux API does not support webhooks, which means it has not been possible to trigger an automatic import whenever a file is changed or a new revision is uploaded. To solve this, we have now added the ability to set up a schedule — a fixed interval where AnkerDB checks Dalux on its own and pulls in updated files. This way, your project stays up to date without you having to think about it, even though we don't get direct notifications from Dalux when something changes.
You can configure your own schedule under the import settings for the Dalux integration, and decide how often AnkerDB should check for new revisions.
Zone - use IFC model located in "Files"
Instead of uploading a zone file through the Zone feature, you can now select an IFC file directly from “Files” and use it as the zone model.
This also enables full automation of the zone workflow. When the zone model is updated in ACC or Dalux, Anker will automatically import the updated file as usual. In addition, it will automatically trigger zone matching using the latest version of the model.
Previously, users had to manually upload the updated zone model inside the Zone feature. This step is now removed, making the process fully automated and more robust.
Fill - New Feature
We’ve launched Fill — a faster way to complete missing BIM data across your models.
Today, when stakeholders across a project need specific data, it’s often pushed back to the design team to fill in manually. That process is slow, expensive, and prone to errors — because someone is entering data on behalf of someone else.
Fill removes that bottleneck.
Instead of updating parameters file by file, you can automatically populate missing values at scale. Define what should be filled, run it once, and keep your data consistent across the entire project.
Built on rule-based logic, Fill helps you standardize data, reduce costly mistakes, and eliminate repetitive manual work.
Less back-and-forth. More reliable data.

Smarter IFC data handling with Type-to-Instance inheritance 🏗️
Working with IFC data just got a whole lot easier. We’ve improved how AnkerDB handles the relationship between Types and Instances, making your data more consistent and much simpler to work with across the platform.
From now on, all instances will automatically inherit properties from their corresponding types. This removes a lot of manual setup and gives you a more predictable and structured dataset to work with. Here is what this means for you:
Direct Property Inheritance: Instances now automatically inherit both IFC schema properties and custom properties from their types, ensuring consistent data across all elements.
Simplified workflows: Makes validations, tables, and enrichment easier to set up and maintain.
Important note: To take advantage of this update, you’ll need to re-import your IFC models. The changes are applied during import, so existing models won’t be affected until they are updated.
Ready to see the difference? Re-import your models and start working with a cleaner, more structured dataset today.
Shareable IFC Export Settings 📤
Setting up IFC exports just got a lot faster. Instead of manually recreating your configurations for every new project, you can now move them between projects with just a few clicks.
What’s new-
Export and share: Select your preferred export configurations and download them as a file. It’s the perfect way to share templates across projects or keep backups of your settings.
-
Smart importing: Upload your settings file into any project. You can cherry-pick exactly which settings to bring in.
-
It "just works": When you import settings, we automatically matches them to the right properties in your project. If a property doesn't exist yet, we'll create it for you.
- We’ve cleaned up some error messages.
Dalux Integration: Direct Model Import & IFC Export 🏗️
Say goodbye to manual file downloads and messy uploads. We’ve built a direct bridge between AnkerDB and Dalux, making it easier than ever to keep your project data in sync and your IFC models up to date.
This integration connects your Dalux environment directly to AnkerDB, allowing you to focus on high-quality data processing without the administrative headache. Here is what you can do now:
-
Direct Model Import: Pull IFC models straight from Dalux into AnkerDB for instant validation, enrichment, and data processing.
-
One-Click Export: Once you’ve updated your data in AnkerDB, push the enriched IFC files directly back to Dalux to keep your project team informed.
-
Centralized Folder Access: Simply provide a Dalux API key with permission to your project folders, and you're ready to go.
A quick note on automation: For this first version, you’ll need to kick off imports manually within the app. We know you love automation, so hang tight—webhook support is officially on our roadmap and coming soon!
Ready to get started? Head over to your integration settings and plug in your Dalux API key to connect your first project.
