We have added section planes. Right click an element in the model and create a section plane from there. You can save several planes in the same view. To remove one, select the section plane and press Delete.

This works only in our new 3D viewer, and for now only for IFC files. Revit is coming.

If you have not tried the new viewer yet, you can turn it on under Project Settings as an opt in feature.

You can now reorder your sub-validations by dragging and dropping them into the position you want.

You no longer need to sign in to the Forma integration in every project. Once you have signed in to Forma in one project, you stay signed in when you open the integration in another project.

We've shipped a few updates we think you'll like.

New geometry engine
We've built our own geometry engine, which gives you access to quantities calculated by us — things like triangle count per element, length, width and height. It also makes IFC import significantly faster, and speeds up IFC export as well.

New 3D viewer (IFC)
We've built our own 3D viewer, currently for IFC files only. You can enable it under General by toggling the button. Please note that switching is one-way — once you've moved to the new viewer, you can't go back to the old one. All IFC files will be automatically reloaded so they're parsed with the new engine.

Automation updates
We've made a number of changes to Automation, including the new Dataflow view, which lets you see the flow of your automations visually and follow how data moves through each step.

Raw data export
You can now download the raw CSV files directly from Files.

Settings moved
We've moved all Project Settings out to the main menu/sidebar, so they're easier to find.

We're always working on improvements, and we'd love to hear from you — both feature requests and general feedback are very welcome.

You can now filter your validation results by individual sub-validations. Instead of scrolling through everything, just select the sub-validation you want to inspect and see only the results that belong to it.

Useful when you're working through a large validation and want to focus on one check at a time.

• Negative Filter Logic: When you filter for things like "is not" or "does not contain," AnkerDB now correctly includes records with blank or missing values. You no longer have to add separate "exists false" filter to include empty values.

• "Exists" Filter Behavior: The "Exists" filter behavior remains unchanged

• Pattern Matching Fix: Previously, case-insensitive pattern filters in tables and validations did not consistently ignore case. These filters now correctly ignore case sensitivity in both tables and validation rules.

Your project now has a fully customisable dashboard, giving you a real time snapshot of everything that matters.

See validation pass rates, element count growth, automation status, and your most used shortcuts, all in one place. Add the widgets you need, remove the ones you do not, and tailor the view to your project and team.

Open any project and go to Overview to get started.

You can now define a shared filter that controls which elements are included across all AnkerDB workflows — Populate, Tables, Generate, Fill, and Validate.

Set rules based on model maturity, category, file, family type, or any property. Only elements mature enough for enrichment or validation will be processed. Placeholders, dummy families, and out-of-scope elements stay untouched — automatically, every time.

Configure your filter once under Settings → Linked Filters, and let AnkerDB handle the rest.

We have great news for everyone working with Dalux files in AnkerDB! You can now set up a schedule for automatic import of files from Dalux, so you no longer have to run the import manually every time.

Unfortunately, the Dalux API does not support webhooks, which means it has not been possible to trigger an automatic import whenever a file is changed or a new revision is uploaded. To solve this, we have now added the ability to set up a schedule — a fixed interval where AnkerDB checks Dalux on its own and pulls in updated files. This way, your project stays up to date without you having to think about it, even though we don't get direct notifications from Dalux when something changes.

You can configure your own schedule under the import settings for the Dalux integration, and decide how often AnkerDB should check for new revisions.
